eSIMs and installation
Read status, usage, and installation details.
Status and usage
GET /esims/{iccid} returns status, usage, timestamps, and install data. Usage follows carrier reporting; updated_at tells you how fresh it is. GET /esims?order_id=... lists eSIMs.
- ready — issued and ready to install
- active — activated
- depleted — data exhausted
- expired — validity ended
- cancelled — no longer active
Install UX
Render a QR code from install.activation_code on the device. On iOS 17.4+, open install.ios_universal_link. On Android, guide the user to add an eSIM manually using install.smdp_address and install.matching_id.
