Sandbox
Use test keys to rehearse orders and lifecycle events.
Test mode
Test keys use the same endpoints and real catalog and prices. Orders issue fake eSIMs with ICCIDs beginning 8900000000; nothing is charged. The virtual balance starts at $1,000. POST /sandbox/reset clears sandbox orders and restores it.
Failure scenarios
Use these reference prefixes to exercise failure handling.
- test-insufficient-balance → 402
- test-provider-error → 502
- test-slow → five-second delay
Lifecycle
A sandbox eSIM becomes active after two minutes, reaches 50%, 80%, and 100% usage after four, six, and eight minutes, then becomes depleted. Each stage emits an event.
